NEW YORK MARKET

Yet Another Decline

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) NEW YORK, July 26. I The New York stock market declined again today after the failtire of a mid-morning attempt to stem yesterday’s fall which carried the market to its biggest one-day loss since the assassination of President Kennedy in 1963. The Dow Jones industrial average dropped to 0.66 to 852.17, its lowest level this year. Bargain hunting on selected industrials and encouraging news from good company earnings reports helped the market recover in early trading. Continuing anxiety over Vietnam, tight money and weakening of the British economy caused prices to fall again and at the close most shares showed fractional losses.
