Five medical students who set out to test their examiners by cheating, have achieved their object—an investigation into Manchester University’s Medical School’s examination system. Each student handed in identical answers to the school’s pathology paper.
But when the results were published one had failed, three had passed and the fifth had won a distinction.
Band Leaves.—The British Far East Air Force band left Singapore yesterday morning for a one-week tour of New Zealand. The 30-member band, led by Flying Officer E. Banks, is flying by way of Perth and Sydney to Ohakea to give a series of concerts in Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch. Singapore, July 24.
