Glenurquhart Recovered
The former Auckland pacer, Glenurquhart, had contracted a virus after winning his first start in the United States and had had to be put out of work, his owner, Mr D. Johnston, said yesterday. Mr Johnston returned to Auckland after taking Glenurquhart to America and supervising the gelding’s training. Mr Johnston said he had since been advised that Glenurquhart had made a good recovery and was in work again. He was being trained by D. Heath, an Australian now in Chicago.
