DRIVER KILLED
Collapsed At Wheel
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, July 18. An elderly man collapsed in his car while driving along Great North road, Pt. Chevalier, Auckland, today. He was Gordon Booth Radford Shepherd, retired, of 708 Avondale road, Avondale. His car ran off the road and struck a power pole. Mr Shepherd was dead when an ambulance arrived. The police said they believed he had suffered a heart attack.
