SECTIONS SOLD
City Council Land The auction sale of a house and eight sections on account of the Christchurch City Council was attended by more than 80 persons last evening. The sale was held by Ford and Hadfield, Ltd. The auctioneer was Mr D. Chapman A weatherboard house, in need of renovation, and a garage on a section of 42.2 perches at the corner of Truro street and Van Asch street, Sumner, was sold for £2150. Prices and details of the sections were: 40.7 perches at the corner of Te Awa Kura terrace and St. Andrews Hill road, £2400; 26.6 perches at 120 Wilsons road, St. Martins, £1725; 24.1 perches at Roberta drive, Spreydon, £1625; 23.2 perches at Roberta drive, Spreydon, £1525; 20.9 perches on the corner of Quinns road and Shirley road, Shirley, £1925; 34.1 perches at McCorkindale place, Shirley. £1480; 24 perches opposite 114 Eureka street, Aranui, £750: a rear section of 60.8 perches, 123 Tilford street, Linwood. £6OO.
