Salute To The Old

Sir, —How encouraging to read the tribute to the aged by “Jenny.” She has indeed been trained to appreciate the eternal verities of life. I thank Jenny for her tolerance and understanding. As one of those of the older generation, with my steps now turned toward the sunset, I have peace and joy in my heart, and gratitude for all the experiences of life and its many joys and sorrows, often overcome by the love, help, and understanding of teen-agers like Jenny.—God bless her.— Yours, etc., LUCIE BROOKER. July 16, 1966.

Sir,—ln reply to “Jenny,” I am one of the old ones. How kind and thoughtful, from one of the nnes! May the “peace of God” be with both young and old. I was once called a senior citizen at the picture palace. I really thought it sounded so nice from one of the younger ones.—Yours, etc., R. WILLSON. July 16, 1966.
