Waimate Riders
“The Press” Special Service DUNEDIN. B. J. Anderton, who returned home to Wingatui yesterday after riding Kumai to win the Trentham and the Winter Hurdles at the Wellington Racing Club’s meeting, will be at Waimate today where his mounts will include Hebron and Mighty Peak. W. C. Gye, who was Injured in a fall at the Dunedin meeting, has received a clearance and he will ride Jolly Fox in the Studholme Hurdles and Melotone In the Te Waimate Steeplechase. Tidal Rip Is an unlikely starter and Barney has been listed as a doubtful runner la the same event. B. T. Jones will have the mount on Race Goer in the Studholme Hurdles and his effort in that event will determine a start In the Te Waimate Steeplechase. Additional riders for the meeting include: — Mr J.
