Lincoln College played a very good brand of Rugby in the second half of its match at Denton Oval. Playing into a strong wind In the first half, Lincoln College defended strongly to hold University A to a threepoint lead at half-time. Lincoln College took complete control of the game in the second half with both backs and forwards combining brilliantly. It was from these combined efforts that Lincoln College scored all its tries. The Lincoln forwards were well led by A. Banks and H. Meech in the tight, with C. L. Broad playing well in the back of the scrum. Eggelton was another who stood out. The Lincoln backs ran straight and hard with Davison and Warren very much to the fore. University A made some bad mistakes; most of its trouble stemmed from B. R, Prestidge, who handled and kicked very badly at first five-eighths. Leary had a lot of work to do. and was the only University player who could feel happy about his form. Referee: Mr R. H. Bull.
