Unable To Talk To Students
fN.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, July 14. The Minister of Labour (Mr Shand), who was to have spoken to Auckland University students next Sunday night, has been replaced by the Deputy-Prime Minister (Mr Marshall). The Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) told students in a letter that Mr Shand had now informed him that because of other commitments he was unable to go to Auckland. Mr Marshall had agreed to take Mr Shand’s place.
