Marketing is a separate department within the faculty of commerce. The successful applicant will be responsible for the development of teaching and research) activities in marketing at both graduate and undergraduate levels. He will be expected to co-operate with the university's Institute of administration in providing non-credit extension courses in marketing for business and government executives.

Salary wIH be 3A10,400 per annum. Subject to the consent of the university council, professors may undertake a limited amount of higher consultative work.
