The Airport Workers’ Union at Nandi international airport has decided to place a “black" ban on all French aircraft, civil or military, landing in Fiji.
In a letter to the Acting Colonial Secretary, Mr J. S. Thomson, the union states that the ac-. tion is in protest against French nuclear tests at Mururoa scheduled for July.
The letter states that the union, through its airport firemen members, will not handle any French aircraft after 28 days from today.
