New Life Peer Created

LONDON, June 2.
The Labour Party veteran, Mr Arthur Henderson, aged 72, a former Minister of State for Commonwealth Affairs, Air Minister and Vice-President of the Council of Europe Assembly, has been created a life peer, it has been announced in London. He has taken the title of Baron Rowley of Rowley Regis after the Staffordshire Parliamentary division he represented in the House of Commons for many years.
