Offered for the estate of Mrs E. East, the house has a hall, two bedrooms, dining room, living room, sunroom, bathroom, kitchen, and laundry. There is also a garage on the section of 38.4 perches. A house of two bedrooms, living room, kitchenette-laun-dry, and bathroom at 127 Oram avenue, New Brighton, was sold for £l5OO, the Government valuation.
Both auctions were held by Ford and Hadfield Ltd. The auctioneer was Mr Denys Chapman. A house at 11 Keller street, Avonside, was passed in at £2600. The auctioneer was Mr L. W. Aitken.
The house, offered for the estate of Patrick John Finn, has three bedrooms, two living rooms, and a sunroom. Outbuildings on the section of 48 perches include a garage, glasshouse, and a fowlhouse. The rates are £3l 13s 4d.
