NOT YET AT MEETING
Mr R. G. Thomson, the Christchurch West High School Old Pupils' Association appointee to the Hagley High School board of governors who was denied a seat at a board meeting a month ago, has still not been able to attend a board meeting. There was one last evening, but Mr Thomson was not present The board claims that Mr Thomson’s appointment does not comply with the terms of the constitution of the Old Pupils’ Association. Mr P. J. Halligan, the board's secretary, said he had had nothing to say about the matter last evening. Mr Thomson said later that his association had received a letter from the board within the last few days, and it was being studied.
