Few Errors
High counts in line-outs and penalties have become so common in Rugby matches that the awarding of only 12 penalties by Mr C. J. Taylor in the LinwoodAlbion game at Rugby Park last Saturday was most refreshing. Neither side was prepared to give away penalties unnecessarily and Mr Taylor had occasion to award only eight in the first half and four in the second. The teams produced a game of considerable movement and Mr Taylor, a referee who interprets the spirit of the laws as well as administring them to the letter, made a fine contribution to the result.
