PUBLIC NOTICES J CHRISTCHURCH DRAINAGE BOARD RATE NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of the Christchurch Drainage Board called for that purpose and held at the Office of the North Canterbury Catchment Board in the City of Christchurch on the twenty-fourth day of May. 1966. the said Board DID RESOLVE AND DIRECT: THAT in pursuance of the powers vested in it by "The Christchurch District Drainage Act, 1951.” bv "The Rating Act. 1925.” and bv “The Valuation Equalisation Act. 1957.” and at all other powers it In that behalf enabling THE CHRISTCHURCH DRAINAGE BOARD at a ; Special Meeting called tor that purpose and held at the Office of the North Canterbury Catchment Board in the City of Christchurch on the Twentyfourth dav of May, 1966, DOTH RESOLVE ’that general rates be made and levied for the purposes of "The Christchurch District Drainage Act, 1951." upon the rateable property within the several areas hereinafter referred to and the said Board doth hereby fix the amounts of the said rates as follows: (a) For the purpose of providing for the Board’s maintenance and other charges in respect of sewerage in the several SEWERAGE AREAS known i as CENTRAL SEWERAGE AREA. AND the said Board DOTH • FURTHER DIRECT that the period for which the said rates shall be made and levied shall be that commencing on the first day of April, 1966, and ending on the Thlrtyfirst day of March. 1967, and further that each of the said rates shall be payable in one sum on a date to be determined by the local bodies collecting the same respectively. AND NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that a meeting of the Board will be held at the office of the Christchurch Drainage Board, 233 Cambridge terrace, Christchurch, on Tuesday,' 28th June, 1966, at 8 p.m.. to CONFIRM the said Resolution.
