CORROBOREE FOR SCOUTS

Up to 56 New Zealand scouts, plus scouters will attend the Australian corroboree to be held at the Wood house War Memorial training centre near Adelaide from December 28 to January 7. Tours will be made of Adelaide, St. Vincent Gulf beaches, and the Mt. Lofty ranges in which the centre is situated. There will be a gang show, night hikes, and an evening at an orchestral concert.

Activities for senior scouts will include surfing, water ski-ing, sailing, canoeing, gliding and exploring caves. Twoday camps will take the scouts to areas more than 200 miles away from the training centre.

Special arrangements have been made for camp cooking during any bush fire restrictions. The Corroboree will have its own hospital, post office, shop, canteen and agencies for most banks.
