CONCORD SALES SOAR

Also expected to be signed on next month are Pan-American stepping up its order from six to eight—and United, which will probably order three.
Last week another airline, Eastern, decided.
without fanfare, to buy two.
The Concord, which has cost an estimated £3OO million in development so far, was almost killed off by the British Government more than 18 months ago. but President de Gaulle stepped in and the tide turned. To date total sales are 52 Concords, and the final purchase price of each is expected to be around £7 million.
