Springfield Farm Sold
A farm comprising 185 acres two roods 16 perches at Russells Flat, three miles from Springfield, was sold after being passed in at £10,393 at public auction yesterday. The property was offered on account of Mr G. Smith and the estate of the late Edwin Smith by Dalgety and New Zealand Loan Ltd. The auctioneer was Mr F. Carpenter. Improvements include a six-roomed house, single man’s quarters, four-stall stable, implement shed, haybarn, cowshed and dairy.
