Mr E. R. Doidge, assistant secretary and accountant of the North Canterbury Catchment Board, is leaving after 14 years’ service to take a nost in Dunedin. He is succeeded as accountant by Mr M. P. Nee. At the board’s meeting yesterdav Mr Doidge was presented with a leather brief-case by the board’s chairman (Mr R. M. D. Johnson).
Dr. Sydney Watson, a professor at the Royal College of Music. Mr G. H. Heath-Gracie. and Mr Kendall Taylor will be the examiners for this year’s examinations bv the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. They will begin examining in the North Island next week, and are expected to be in Christchurch late in September and in October.
