70 Former Pupils Entertained Seventy former pupils of Christchurch Girl’s High School who attended before 1914, were guests at an afternoon tea party organised by Old Girls’ Association. They were welcomed by the president of the association (Mrs W. Staff). Earlier, the association’s committee entertained members of the South Canterbury branch and former presidents of the association to lunch. Recently more than 80 members of the association attended a smorgasbord lunch at a Christchurch restaurant.
