(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. May 16. National Electrical and Engineering Company has made a debenture placement with insurance companies for terms ranging from 10 to 20 years. The amount of the debenture issue is £400,000, including mortgage conversion of £ll,OOO. The issue has been made for the purpose of re-organ-ising the finances of the group and to allow for future expansion plans in the subsidiary companies.
