CONCERN BY COMMUNISTS
Influence Of The West
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) MOSCOW, May 15.
Communist ideological experts from eight nations are meeting in Moscow to discuss ways of combating the influence of capitalist ideas. The countries represented are the Soviet Union, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, East Germany, Hungary, Poland, Rumania and Jugoslavia. The meeting reflects the growing concern, especially in Russia, over the idealogical education of young people, observers said. The Russians have also shown themselves worried over the influence of Western broadcasts, now heard by millions of people in Russia, and foreign films and books.
