Magistrate's Court
Alan Clarence McKenrie. aged 21. was remanded In custody till April 28 when he appeared in the Magistrates Court on Saturday on a charge that on March 11 he burgled a house at 116 McFaddens road. Messrs A. V. Baker and M. G. Ogilvie, Justices of the Peace, were on the bench. Richard Henare, aged 24. was remanded in custody till April 28 on a charge of stealing £4 on April from Albert Sydney Forsey. James Morgan, aged 19. a carpenter’s apprentice, was remanded on bail till April 28 on a charge of stealing a dictaphone valued at £6O from the Automatic Telephone and Electrical Company on April 21. Hector Douglas Dixon pleaded guilty to a charge of being drunk in Hereford street on April 22. He was diwd O. Dixon admitted four convictions for drunkenness in the previous six months.
