First Stake For Charity
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 25. Dusky of Rathgar, the greyhound racing for charity, made its first contribution to the funds of the North Shore branch of the Intellectually Handicapped Children Society on Sunday. Racing for the first time in the name of the society, the dog came second in an Auckland Greyhound Racing Club race at Kumeu. Last week, Dusky of Rathgar’s owners, Mr G. Blair and Miss S. Hudson, of Henderson, offered its winnings for this season to the society.
