Two Properties Sold
The late Robert Brins’s property at 129 North Avon road, Richmond, was sold for £4400 at public auction yesterday. The auctioneer was Mr D. Chapman. The main building on the section of 32.4 perches, zoned commercial B, is a grocer’s shop with three rooms, kitchen, and laundry, and a vacant flat with a lounge, hall, bedroom, kitchenettedinette, bathroom, and laundry. Other buildings include garage premises and a shed.
The present rentals are £32 10s a month.
The opening bid was £3500. There were seven bids of £lOO, and four of £5O. A five-roomed cottage on a section of 42.6 perches, zoned residential B, at 990 Colombo street, St. Albans, was sold for £3950. The property was offered on account of Mr R. McHugh by Mr N. H. McCrostie.
