Exhibition Of Shearing

QUEENSTOWN, April 22. An exhibition of blade shearing was the high point of the Queen Mother’s welcome to Queenstown today. Two Arrowtown men, Mr Allan Hamilton, a farmer, and Mr Albert Morris, sheared four Merinos in six minutes and a half during a public welcome for the Queen Mother.
After the ceremony she attended a luncheon and later left by Air Force aircraft for Timaru.
