Prosecution On Grandstand
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 21. A prosecution relating to a Scotsman’s grandstand overlooking Effen Park was again deferred in the Magistrate's Court at Auckland today. Monica O’Sullivan is being prosecuted by the Mount Albert Borough Council for using land in Cricket avenue contrary to the council’s district scheme. Today, Mr J. Evans, for the council, told Mr H. Jenner Wily, S.M., that the stand was also the subject of injunction proceedings in the Supreme Court, which were expected to be completed in June.
The Magistrate adjourned the case to July 7. The prosecution came before the Court in October last year.
