The New Zealand Olympic and British Empire Games Association will not stand in the way of any athletes who want to stay over and compete after the Empire Games in Jamaica this year, said the association chairman, Mr C. L. S. Cross, yesterday. He said that he could not recall any Empire or Olympic Games in the last 12 years when everyone had returned together.
