SUKARNO ATTACKS
Opposition Denounced
(JV.Z Press Assn. —Copyright) DJAKARTA, April 21. President Sukarno has admitted that political forces in Indonesia are attempting to push him out of power. Addressing a full Cabinet session, President Sukarno angrily denounced the effort. He said he had received leaflets from dissatisfied groups claiming “President Sukarno has become old.”
It was the first public acknowledgment he has made of the increasing dissatisfaction over his form of leadership. Heavily guarded. President Sukarno yesterday made his first appearance on the streets of Djakarta since handing over his executive powers to General Suharto last month.
