Bill Adonis Wins At Roxburgh

(N.Z. Press Association) ROXBURGH. The weather for the annual meeting of the Roxburgh Trotting Club yesterday was fine and warm, and there was a large attendance.

The double was won by Bill Adonis, in the Roxburgh Handicap, and Kate Smith in the Pioneer Handicap. The combination paid £65 6s 6d for £l. A. L. Milne was fined £lO after the running of the Central Otago Stakes for miscounting the number of rounds. Milne brought Cool Water forward with five furlongs to go. Results:
