Decisive Hawera Win By Scotleigh

The second day of the Hawera Trotting Club’s meeting was held in fine weather before a large crowd. The track, which was easy early, dried later.

The first leg of the T.A.B. double, the Ohawe Free-for-all, was won decisively by Scotledgh. The outsider, Robin’s Return, produced a strong late run in the Waimate Plains Handicap to return a double dividend of £292 for £l. Results:
