ADDINGTON INQUIRIES

An inquiry was held into a check to Cuddle Doon just short of the line in the Plains Handicap at Addington on Saturday. It was found that Courtier (K. D. Murray) was hanging out, causing Lusty Lad (R. P. Nyhan) to move out also. As a result Cuddle Doon (T. M. May) was checked. No further action was taken.

D. D. Nyhan, the driver of Lordship in the fourth heat of the Royal Easter Cup. was fined £25 for holding the shaft of the sulky of Wendy Dawn about three furlongs from the finish. Lordship finished first in the event and Wendy Dawn i second.
