I Three hundred holiday ! visitors to Cape Reinga lighthouse watched a Japanese I mother ship off Cape Maria Van Dieman on Saturday. | The fishing vessel was [joined today by another vessel and the two spent the day ! about five miles off the coast. The weather was fine but hazy so that it was impos- ! sible to see from Cape Reinga ' whether dories were working [ from the mother ships. The first report was radioed to Cape Reinga light- ; house on Saturday by E. Har- [ rison, master of the tug Moala, which passed eight [ miles off the coast.
