Auck. Yacht Wins Q Class
(N.Z. Press Association) ROTORUA. , Flamingo, sailed by J. Fo*te, of Auckland, won the Q class national freshwater yachting championship at the Easter regatta held on Lake Rotorua over the week-end. Second in the event was Montrose, sailed by J. Abbot, of Auckland, with Miss Times (R. Cairns, Hamilton), third. The national Cherokee class title went to Vibrant sailed by T. Smedley, of Otahuhu. The New Zealand Moth class title resulted in a win to Xanthia (P. Ruddling, of Howick).
