N.Z. Axeman Is Equal First
(N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) SYDNEY. The New Zealand axeman, R. Davidson, of Tokoroa, tied with the Tasmanian, M. Youf, in the final of the 12in hard-hitting underhand world championship at the Sydney Royal Easter Show on Saturday. The only other member of the New Zealand woodchopping team to gain a place in Saturday’s events was D. Lamberton, also of Tokoroa, who finished fourth in the 15in underhand.
