Witnesses Wanted
Members of the motor accident inquiry branch at the Central Police Station want to interview anyone who saw the two cars shortly before they were involved in a collision at the Charing Cross intersection, near Darfield, about 7.45 p.m. on Thursday. The driver of one car James Clifford Draper, aged 46, of Hororata Homestead. Hororata, was fatally injured. Telegraph, Bealey, Ridgens and Wards roads intersect at Charing Cross.
