N.Z. THIRD IN DARTS
Championship To W. Aust, (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. New Zealand finished third in the Australian and New Zealand darts teams’ championship at Lower Hutt today. The championship, with New Zealand making its official debut in the tournament, was retained by Western Australia. Western Australia scored 3r points, New South Wales 29 New Zealand 22, South Australia 21. and Australian Capital Ter ritory 3. B. Christensen, of Taranaki, and D. Dyer, and D. Rollo, Auckland, played consistently wel.’ for New Zealand throughout the round robin tournament. The Individual singles will be completed tomorrow.
