13 Detectives Seek Girl Missing For 10 Days
(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 8. Thirteen detectives, investigating the disappearance of Lesley Margaret Soutter, aged 19, of Devonport, have appealed to the owners of baches to check their properties during the Easter holidays.
“We would especially like to hear from anybody who finds their property shows signs of having been lived in,” said Detective Senior-Sergeant G. R. Knight tonight In spite of considerable public assistance the police have been unable to trace Miss Soutter, who was last seen at the Auckland municipal bus terminal 10 days ago. being checked. Miss Sputter’s description also - was being circulated among hotels, motels and accommodation houses. Miss Soutter is five feet five inches in height with fai» hair and prominent freckles on her cheek-bones. She always wears spectacles. She was wearing a small three-stone engagement ring on her left hand and three very similar dress rings on her right hand. The greyish black duffle coat she was wearing had a tartan lining. Her shoes were red with patent leather. Miss Soutter was born in Scotland.
