Second Order
A shipment of 20 deepwell pumps left the Christchurch factory of W. H. Price and Son, Ltd., yesterday on their way to a Manila firm for distribution in the Philippines.
Lt is the second order received from the Manila firm. The managing-director of the Christchurch firm (Mr W. H. Price) said that the orders
were a direct result of the New Zealand trade mission to South-east Asia in 1964, of which Mr Price was a member. The Manila company also imported pumps from Japan. Its business with New Zealand was expected to grow. The Christchurch company has exported pumps to Hong Kong, Bangkok, and Kuala Lumpur as a result of the trade mission.
