BEATLES’ SHARES
(Special Crspdt. N.Z.P.A.) LONDON. April 6. The financial march of John Lennon and Paul McCartney, the song-writing pair of the Beatles, continues. They have just done another share deal which nets them £146.000 each. They sold Lenmac Enterprises, Ltd., to the sister firm. Northern Songs, in which the two singers each have a share stake worth £500.000. Northern Songs publish the pair's songs. In addition Lennon and McCartney each made £94 000 from an earlier sale of Northern Songs shares.
