Red Cross Display
A travelling display unit has been produced by the national headquarters of the New Zealand Red Cross Society, says the society’s news bulletin. Intended to assist centres With local publicity, it has eight panels, each depicting some aspect of Red Cross work and organisation. These include the Junior Red Cross, hospital services, civil defence, badges and awards, and international relief. The secretary of the North Canterbury centre (Mr R. J. Lipscombe) said yesterday, that the unit would be included in the Industries Fair in Christchurch this year.
