Kaiapoi School P.T.A. Meets
Mr N< Cook presided over a good attendance at the first annual meeting of the Kaiapod Convent School Parent-teacher Association, which was formed last September.
The spiritual director (Father C. Curnow) and the school’s teaching sisters were present. The guest speaker, Mr J. J. GLH. an inspector of schools of the Canterbury Education Board, described the role of parentteacher work in the school life.
It was decided that four general meetings be held during the year, the next to be in May.
Officers elected were: President. Mr N. Cook: vice-president. Mr M. Power: secretary. Mrs A. Ashby; committee, Mrs R. Bunker, Messrs B. Baker, P. Thompson.
