Stolle, in straight sets. The unseeded Moore defeated his second-seeded opponent. 8-6, 10-8, 6-2, in a i quarter-final match. R, Emerson (Australia), C. Graebner (United States) and R. Hewitt (Australia), also reached the semi-finals. Hewitt beat C. Drysdale (South Africa), 3-6, 6-3, 4-6, 13-11, 6-2. Graebner beat P. Darmon (France), 6-2, 8-6. 11-13, 4-6. 6-4 and Emerson defeated K. Diepraam (South .Africa), 8-6. 6-0, 6-3.
