Mr Harold Wilson, will visit India and Pakistan in October this year at the earliest, a British Government official said tonight. He said Mr Wilson had accepted in principle invitations to visit both Commonwealth countries but no firm dates had been discussed—and the visit might not even take place during 1966. Mr Wilson has also outstanding invitations to visit Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand. It has yet to be settled whether he would go to all five countries as part of a long tour, or make a separate visit to Australia and New Zealand. Parliament will open its new session on April 21.
