Multiple Sclerosis Society
Because of the growth of the work the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canterbury decided to increase the number of committee members from 12 to 16. There will continue to be four executive members ex officio. The gift of eight wall heaters, a kitchen stove, and a filing cabinet to the society from the Masonic Charitable Trust Fund was announced at the meeting. The president (Mr R. Williams) expressed the society’s gratitude to the trust. Mr Williams also thanked the Sumner Sewing Circle, which recently raised £l5l for the society at a stall.
