Blood From London
(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, April 4. Two pints of negative V.E.L. blood from London and one from Finland were delivered to the Dunedin Hospital at 8.45 tonight. The blood is for a young woman who is recovering from an operation performed on Saturday. She is still receiving transfusions. The consignment reached Auckland this afternoon after a 13,000 mile flight in a refrigerated box. It arrived at Dunedin Airport on the last National Airways Corporation flight of the day.
