FINE LEVIN TRIAL
"Th* Press" Special Service LEVIN. Gus showed that he was ready to resume in the Woodhey Hack Handicap at Awapunl tomorrow with a fine final trial at Levin yesterday morning. All fast work was done on the plough, which was In good condition. Gu* (W. D. Skelton) was slightly in front and doing better than Chtave d'Oro (K. A. Aitken) at the end of five furlong* in 59 l-s*ec, the final halfmile in 46 4-ssec and the last three furlongs in 34 3-ssec. Gus will resume after a long spell. He has drawn handily and with the assistance of W. D. Skelton should race well fresh. Mukupal (K. A. Aitken) started three lengths behind Fairweather (W. D. Skelton) at the five furlongs, but was a head In front on the line. They ran the distance in 58 4-Ssec, the final four furlong* in 46 3-ssec and the last three in 34*ec. They Told Me (W. D. Skelton) ran half a mile quickly in 46 3-ssec, the last three furlongs in 34 1-Siee. They Told Me wHI resume in the Epsom Handicap. She ha* drawn No. 1 and should rac* well.
