ASSAULT ON GIRLS
Inquiries Continue
Police inquiries are continuing into the indecent assault on two girls, aged eight and 10, on Wednesday evening. The girls were enticed into a car in Manchester street and driven to the Burwood area, where the offence took place. Detectives have requested that any person who saw an old-model car, coloured white or light fawn, in the Burwood area between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. should get in touch with the C. 1.8. at the Christchurch Central police station.
