DERAILED GOODS
(N.Z. Press Association) WANGANUI, March 24. Two waggons of a northbound mixed goods train from Wellington to Westfield, Auckland, were derailed at Kaikarangi, near Hunterville, at 6.45 a.m. today. The derailment held up traffic for about seven hours. North-bound trains were held at Marton and Powera, and south-bound traffic at Manganoho. The first train to get through at 121 p.m. was a goods train, about seven hours late.
